Monuments, landscapes, catalogues, and places of Neolithic Europe
This section gathers site-based material on Neolithic and megalithic monuments across Europe. It connects individual places with monument types, regional traditions, catalogue data, symbolic material, landscapes, and experimental 3D models.
Using the site entries
Site entries combine archaeological descriptions, catalogue references, landscape context, symbolic material, and research notes. Some entries are fuller than others and may reflect work in progress. The aim is to connect places with monuments, symbols, rites, landscapes, and the wider research catalogue.
This list gives a selection of megalithic sites across Europe.
